Here at R.C. Stevens Construction we are celebrating our 85th anniversary. As with any anniversary, we are taking a look back at our history. That history includes a legacy that was left to us by our founder, Ray Stevens; a legacy of integrity and honesty with our customers at the center. Ray and R.C. Stevens Construction helped to shape the face of our community with the buildings he constructed and with the way he treated people. The story is often told of a client who dropped by the office to ask Ray to build his home. Ray and the client shook hands on the transaction and the client gave Ray a bag of money with which to build the home. When the home was completed, Ray was able to refund the remaining money in the bag to the client. That honesty and integrity is our legacy and its how we operate today. Over the years ownership has changed hands with Tim Keating at the helm now, but the way we operate has remained unchanged.

We are also celebrating our 85th by looking forward. We know  the projects we build now will help define the face of the next generation of buildings in Central Florida. An example of that is the Roper Garden Building in Winter Garden, boasting a roof-top tilapia and vegetable farm. It is the first Florida Green Building certified project in Central Florida.
