Greetings!

Spring is here and summer is not far behind.  Our crew in Massachusetts could tell us a thing or two about the seasons changing this year as those Florida boys weathered a very cold winter.  We have seen seasons change here in the office too.  We have lost a good friend and co-worker in Jim Crabtree and we have welcomed some great new faces to the team.  The important thing for all of us to remember, as things change, is that we are family; we look out for each other and suceed together.  Thanks for your part in making R.C. Stevens the great company it is.     Thank you, Tim

Saying Good-by to Jim Crabtree

As we say good-bye to Jim Crabtree this month, some of the wonderful things about him bear re-telling.

There is the funny story about Jim leading the charge

Jim Crabtree

to "group hug" Arden.

Another

funny story about Jim is buying the cheap beer on Fridays and that was only when he was teased about not buying beer at all. There are many stories about his enthusiastic approach to living life.  If you attended his memorial service, you know how well-loved Jim was in the West Orange community.  We will miss Jim here at R.C. Stevens, but we were so fortunate to know him and work with him.  He leaves a legacy of embracing life and living it to the fullest.  We can honor Jim by doing likewise, so raise your glass to Jim and keep his family in your thoughts and prayers as they learn to navigate life without him.

Relay for Life

An invitation from Jim's family

Relay for Life

May 20,2011

At the Pavillion on West Plant St., Winter Garden

6 p.m. to 9 a.m. (all night)

We are inviting you to join our team to help fight cancer in Jim's name.  We will be there all night and walking for the cure. We are hoping our team will raise $1,000 for the American Cancer Society. Our team is new to this so we have little time to raise these funds. Many of you have helped us raise money for Jimmy, so we want you to know that donating money to ACS is an optional part of being on our team. However, if you would like to donate to ACS, please make your checks payable to the American Cancer Society and give the check to Betsy VanderLey, or you can go to www.Donate4Jim.com and make a donation by clicking on the Donate button. We are asking each team member to raise $50 but again, this is optional.

On the evening of the event, please bring a chair for your comfort. We will have drinks for team members.

If you have some fundraising ideas for our team on that night - please let us know.

To register go to www.Donate4Jim.com or speak with Betsy VanderLey or one of the Crabtrees. Thank you for your continued support. Hope to see you May 20th !!

Give us your feedback!  If you see something you like or have an idea for something you would like to see, contact Cindy Wait at cwait@rcstevens.com or call (321) 281-5307.
