R.C. Stevens Construction and CFE Federal Credit Union Reach Milestone

CFE Federal Credit Union has awarded R. C. Stevens the renovation of their South Orlando branch, a facility which R. C. Stevens originally built for CFE in 1995. This marks our 100^th project for CFE since 1995. Their faith in us illustrates the value that we offer all of our clients.  As Joe Melbourne, CFE President/CEO says: ""We have always found Dave Smith and Tim Keating, and their staff to be the most honest business people we have dealt with."

Our founder, Ray Stevens, epitomized the word "Integrity".  A story is told about our Company's early days, when Ray was just getting started during the 1920s.  One of his clients walked into his office and dropped a sack of money on Ray's desk. "Ray....design and build a home for me".  When Ray finished the house, he visited with his client to return the sack with the funds Ray hadn't spent.  Although Ray could easily have kept every penny, he was interested in only earning his fair pay for the work.  That type of open and honest dealings, most often based just on a handshake, is the cornerstone of R.C. Stevens Construction Company's reputation for Integrity. A reputation we intend to take into our next 85 years of doing business in Central Florida.
