Help needed with medical bills

Mufasa

April has been a month full of infected teeth, injuries, illness, and vaccinations - for the cats, of course!

Needless to say, our vet bill has grown quite large, despite the wonderful allowances we receive from our amazing vets.

Most cats that come to us have not seen a veterinarian in many years, and need exams, blood work, and shots. That quickly adds up and we would greatly appreciate even the tiniest amount you could spare to help us continue our work.

Thank you!

Don't miss this great community event! For three days, May 20-22, we will host Sheridan's first Spay/Neuter event, brought to us by the Montana Spay/Neuter Task Force. This event is for both cats and dogs, and we are still looking for volunteers!

Our biggest need is food to feed our veterinarians, vet techs, and volunteers. If you can contribute a casserole, salad, or dessert, please contact us.

Call us today at 307-461-9555 or visit the event website to get more information and register!

Happy Endings: Glen
Glen's new home

new home

We were delighted to receive this picture in our inbox this week from the family who adopted our wonderful Glen. They drove all the way from South Dakota to get him!

Glen is doing well in his new home and is quickly winning the hearts of everyone he meets, just as he did in his time here. We're so very happy for you, Glen!

Foster Homes needed!

Evy needs a
foster home!

We pride ourselves in providing the highest-quality care for our special-needs residents. Right now we are completely full and unable to take in new cats, which breaks our hearts! Also, some cats prefer to be in a single-cat home or need special attention that our volunteers cannot always provide.

We would love if you could help us by fostering an animal in need. We have several senior cats needing love, a disabled cat, and some younger cats that are having trouble adapting to the stress of being left behind by their families.

Fostering is a temporary solution, and we will continue searching for a permanent home while the cat is in your care. Please call 307-752-5807 or email secondchance@sheridancatrescue.org if you are interested!

We hope you are enjoying the start of spring!

Sincerely,

Rachel Kristiansen
