Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service Foundation (STARS) provides a vital helicopter air ambulance service - 25 years of Care in the Air! Here are interesting factoids: in 2009, STARS flew 1,368 missions. Since 1985, the mission total is nearly 19,000. It is a community-based non-profit charitable organization.
