International Stuff, Donations and Community
 In 2008, we received an email from Mr. Benjamin Jordan, a fearless paraglider with a big dream. He simply requested a GPS donation for his team. The long story short is we did donate a few (3) Garmin GPSMAP 76S units for his paramotor journey: 2000 kilometers
from Prince Rupert to Nelson, British Columbia. The aim for that trip was to be an eye-opening documentary of what mass deforestation looks like from above.
So it was with great interest that we watched the 2009 journey and marvelled at 2009 Photo Contest entry (shown). Beginning in Tofino BC, the ABOVE + BEYOND CANADA team arrived in St.
John's, Newfoundland at 7:00 PM on Saturday, September 5th, successfully
completing the first ever crossing of Canada by Powered Paraglider and
claiming the Guiness World Records title in doing so.
Jordan: Keren, Jess
and I delivered inspiring presentations during our stops at more than 35
schools and summer camps. The children displayed gratitude by gathering
into giant formation which I photographed from the sky before flying
onward.
