We hope that this letter finds you well, and pray that God is blessing you and your family during this Holiday Season!
Thank You
We write to you with a deep sense of gratitude for the ways in which we have seen God provide this year; both for physical needs and with a greater sense of His presence. We are humbled by the ways in which YOU followed God by praying for, participating in, and giving to His work at Stanford. Through partners like you, we came to understand in new ways what a vital role the Body of Christ plays in seeing His work come to fruition. This year truly would not have happened without your partnership...just as God intended!
Looking Forward
As we look forward to 2011, we feel a greater sense of urgency than ever before. For all of us, our time on this earth is short, and the day when we will stand face to face with the God of the Universe is not so far away as it may seem. When that day comes, we will realize that next to our relationship with Christ, there is little else that actually matters. We desire to live with that day always before us as we contend for the lives of students at Stanford. We ask that you would join us in praying for and working to that end.
Get Involved
As we move into the new year, we are trusting that where God gives vision, He will also give the provision necessary to bring it to pass. With the vision God has given us for reaching Stanford, we are trusting Him to raise up an entire community of people who understand and are gripped by the strategic nature of ministry at Stanford, and are willing to give of their time, talent, and treasure to that end. We ask you to prayerfully consider how God might have you be involved in 2011. Whether it be with KFM or otherwise, we encourage you to obey Him with reckless abandon, trusting that there is no better (or more exciting!) place to be than in the center of His will!
Prayer Requests
- For wisdom and direction as we seek to faithfully steward the hearts of the students that God has entrusted to our care
- For more of the Holy Spirit in our lives and in the lives of students
- For more people to be involved with their time and talent at Stanford
- For a more robust monthly support team leading towards more sustainability
- For victory over the enemy in the battle for Stanford's campus!
Please pray for us, and let us know how we can be praying for you! If you have any questions, or desire to become more involved, please contact Trent at trentwiesen@gmail.com or (650) 269-4926.
We pray that God would reveal His love and sovereignty to you during this Holiday Season like never before...WHAT A GOOD KING WE SERVE!
Thank you again for everything!
With Love,
The Kingdom First Ministries Team
