Clicking on the picture to the left will take you to an inspiring video created for the purpose of training employees about service at, believe it or not, ... a fast food restaurant chain. (run time approximately 6 minutes). Indeed, if Chic-Fil-A was a public company it would have an excellent chance of qualifying as an American Hero Company. But, being privately-owned it does not meet our criteria since only public companies are eligible. Never-the-less, Chic-Fil-A's service is well-worth noting.Thankfully, Dan Cathy, their President and Chief Operating Officer, graciously allowed the video to be uploaded to the internet so anyone could uplifted by it.
Needless to say, when we look for public companies in which to invest we like to see an emphasis on service like the one depicted by this video and modeled by Chic-Fil-A.
