Work Group Updates
|
SAC maintains six active work groups: Member Development, Communications, Learning Network, Recognizing and Sharing Outcomes, Collaborative Partnerships, and Level 4 Development. Participation is open and encouraged.
The Collaborative Partnership Work Group will be kicking off the Indiana Collaborative Partnership in September. The effort provides support to SAC members in Indiana to promote biodiversity, conservation and storm water projects, in concert with IDEM, and the Wildlife Habitat Council, among others. Learn more about this project and how to become involved by attending the webinar on Tuesday, September 10 at 1pm EST.
The Sharing and Recognizing Outcomes Work Group has prepared a template for the 2012 SAC Annual Report. This will be the first year that progress against member goals is reported. Data on member's goal progress will be collected via a facility specific form that will seek updates on your individual goals.
The Level 4 Work Group has met to continue development of the Level 4 standard. They are currently in the process of filling in the missing components, editing the standard for consistency, and ensuring the other existing guidelines or standards are appropriately referenced.
