Worm of the Month
We're
taking a break from our series of 'Worm of the Month' articles about deworming
medications to provide you with some tips for Fall 2010 worm control. This month:
'Fall' Back On These Worm Control Tips
Climate is
a significant factor when it comes to equine parasites. While we're all
approaching the autumn season, the weather will be different in Florida or
Arizona than it will be in Minnesota or Maine. We've gathered a few ideas and
helpful hints for you to incorporate into your horse's worm control program
over the coming months. Continue reading 'Fall' Back On These Worm Control Tips Image courtesy Constant Contact | ______________________

Greetings!
Welcome to our September issue of Worm Control News, from Horsemen's Laboratory.
This month, we're 'back to school' following a break in August; we hope you've enjoyed your summer, too.
We've also got a slight change in format. We'll continue to bring you the popular Worm of the Month series, and our Featured Article section to bring you the latest news and research plus other information to help you better manage your horse's worm control program. However, the monthly About H-Lab section will change to an occasional News from the H-Lab section, where we'll bring you updates from our end when we have something new to report.
As always, if there's anything we can do to help in your equine worm
control program, please call or email us at hlab@horsemenslab.com. We hope you enjoy reading this issue!
Sincerely,
John W. Byrd, DVM
Horsemen's Laboratory

Reinemeyer has what some might call a radical idea; what if we learned to
simply live with the parasites?

Congratulations, Kemp Equine! We're
delighted to share the news that Lisa Kemp of Kemp Equine has recently received
several prestigious awards for both her marketing savvy and her writing
abilities. Lisa has been writing and producing Worm Control News for us for
nearly a year now; she also blogs at NoBizLikeHorseBiz.com, where you can read
more about the awards.
However, Lisa reports that while she greatly appreciates
the acknowledgements, she's especially pleased about the recognition on the
'new media' campaign she developed for renowned equine photographer Gabriele
Boiselle, since it shows that with the technology now available, equine
businesses can compete with the 'big boys' when it comes to marketing.
