Camp Creek cliff collapses,

creates small rock slide

One of our most-hucked rocks pulled off and tumbled onto Cascade Creek road. Many of you may recognize this location since it is a pick up for Tumble Down and  runs that funnel into Camp Creek. The cliff is still there; but the landing looks a little sketchy?

Stormy, snowy week dusts San Juans
Special discounts on snowcat trips celebrate event

This past week brought a series of storms that dusted the high country with snow. Yesterday afternoon, the skis cleared and revealed the glistening white peaks. As we were walking along Cascade Road admiring the winter-like views and checking out a small rockside (see photo  left), we talked about how to commemorate the first significant snow of the year.  We decided to offer an early snow special and give a 10 percent discount on all snowcat trips (see our trip lineup below) booked before September 30th. The discount is not available  President's Day weekend, Feb. 18-20.

If you can't commit to a date, you can still purchase a regular seat at the discounted price. Just buy a gift certificate. They are good any day we are running trips. Advanced reservations are required.

Discounted trips cannot be booked online. Call 1.800.208.1780.

We look forward to skiing with you this season!
- Bob and Carrie Rule, Kevin, Josh, Marc, Skippy, Andy and Mike
