flylow & backcountry experience

crew harvest spring corn

a mountainbilly production

Flylow athletes and  Backcountry Experience employees sampled some of our great spring skiing last year. For an added adventure, the group rode snowmobiles several miles to meet the snowcat.

local filmmaker ryan jameson and

friends rip up our backcountry

a two brother's production

An emerging professional skier and filmmaker,   Jameson's short film, "Continuum" (a 25-minute documentary about two brothers, their daring pursuit of backcountry skiing, and Ryan's anguish when their story is tragically cut short by a skiing accident at DMR), was well received at local film festivals last year. Ryan, a Durango native, has made two videos for the San Juan Ski Company.

sjsc guide pokes fun at powder

poachers  with a  xtranormal movie

a geezer 1 production

For clients who have skied with us and with guide Kevin Devine, you know he has a dry and rather twisted sense of humor.  In his debut video, Devine takes a satirical stab at powder poachers tracking up our terrain when "Bengi wants to take the easy route." Contains some language that could be considered offensive.

Wishing you and your family and friends a Happy Thanksgiving!

Sincerely,

Bob and Carrie Rule
