| Greetings, |
Graduation is just around the corner for the Class of 2011. We hold all the graduates in our prayers as they leave their Central Catholic family. Before departing from high school, however, the seniors participated in a longstanding tradition of attending the Senior Luncheon and a newly added tradition of the Senior Lock-In. On Thursday and Friday, May 12 and 13, 2011, the seniors were served lunch sponsored by the Central Catholic Alumni Association. The students then returned that evening for a lock-in, with the days' events culminating in their return to the school on Friday, May 13. After an evening "locked in" at the school, they woke to breakfast the next morning, then rode a bus to the original campus which is now La Mansion del Rio. The boys walked back to the school from 112 College Street along St. Mary's Street, and by 10 a.m. the seniors had "left the building." Please click here to read "A Reflection of the Senior Lock-In" by Gina Rea, Religion Chair. Ms. Rea was one of the many chaperones for the lock-in. In addition, please click here to view images from these two events. Good luck Senior Class of 2011. We have you in our prayers. We also pray everyone have a blessed summer.
