15-17u Gamers & Parents,
This email provides information on the bus trip to Nashville that all three groups will be going on.
Your coach will be sending out a more detailed schedule email for each team.
The bus will leave at 5pm on Thursday. It will depart from the commuter lot at I-44 and 141 in Valley Park. A map to the commuter lot can be found here:
http://www.modot.mo.gov/services/Commuters/Lots/D6_stlouis_I44&MO141.htm
We will have three different buses, one for each age group. All three buses will depart at 5pm from the same location.
The players need to bring all uniform items and baseball items with them. In addition, they need to bring clothes to wear around the hotel and around the Vanderbilt campus area (our hotel is right beside Vanderbilt). Shorts and t-shirts is the norm.
Breakfast will be provided at the hotel (free). Players should bring enough money with them to pay for:
Lunch (subway, etc...)
Dinner (lots of TGIF, Outback, etc.. kind of restaurants within walking distance)
Snacks, drinks, etc.. during the day and at night at the hotel.
$40-50 per day is enough money.
They can bring all their gatorade, protein bars, snacks, etc.. with them. They should bring a LARGE water cooler to fill up at the hotel before leaving to the game.
We will be staying at the Hampton Suites near Vanderbilt. All the information on the hotel is at: http://www.hamptoninnnashville.com/nashville-elliston-place.php
The players will stay 3-4 to a room. The roommates will be selected by the coaches. Coaches rooms will be very close. Very strict curfew and behavior rules will be enforced, with lots of running punishment if violated.
