HAVE YOU HEARD? The Community Development Office congratulates Christy Culp on her promotion to DOLA Regional Manager for the South Central Region! Culp brings more than seven years experience working with local governments and programs targeted to communities. She most recently served as the statewide coordinator of the Main Street Program where she worked with Colorado Main Street Communities to increase organizational capacity at the local level, identified financial and technical assistance available for downtown and community revitalization and coordinated educational forums and information sharing opportunities. Culp began her duties as regional manager on February 1st. Congratulations Christy!
JOIN OUR TEAM! The Community Development Office seeks a Community and Economic Development Specialist to provide community assistance on economic development, downtown revitalization, historic preservation, and community development. This person will oversee the Colorado Main Street Program and provide in-depth technical assistance to communities through presentations, facilitation, training, strategic planning assistance, research, and advising. WE NEED YOUR HELP! The Community Development Office is continuously building its online resource library. The resource library offers sample plans, policies, regulations, publications and handouts, and useful links in an effort to reduce research time and provide a tool for comparison. We encourage you to visit the resource library and submit your sample plans to the CDO team in digital format. Your participation makes this tool stronger!
