"We were inspired to create this event when we saw our kids perform at our school's talent show. We saw how other kids became excited about music by watching their friends perform. We started thinking about how much the kids loved performing and really didn't see many places for them to perform besides for their family and friends. We thought "what about an outdoor festival?" When Joan Baez agreed to perform, KIDZSTOCK was born - A celebration which showcases the amazing young musical talent and their contributions to the performing arts of Marin County - all in a summer day of music and outdoor activities for the whole family," said Rochelle Edwards, one of the volunteer organizers and parent at Cascade Canyon School.
