Village Celebrates with Tree Planting; Community Eco-Art Project
Pre-school students equipped with watering cans and kiddy-sized garden tools will help Palmetto Bay celebrate Arbor Day, Friday, Jan. 15, by planting several trees in and nearby the Village's new butterfly garden at Ludovici Park. The annual event, which PalmettoBay recognizes as part of its membership as a TreeCityUSA community in 2008, kicks off at noon. Also, Local artist Xavier Cortado introduces his eco-art project to the Palmetto Bay community.

  • Discussion on importance of trees to the environment by member-Palmetto Bay Tree Board;
  • ButterflyGarden dedication with newly formed Palmetto Bay Garden Club.
