Greetings!
We are one week away from our Clergy/Laity Assemby and Philoptochos Conference. Our goal is to have good dialogue and learn from each other as we gather to perpetuate the philanthropic missions of Philoptochos. Our mission statement clearly identifies us as the philanthropic heart of the Greek Orthodox Church.
It is our hope that your delegates will leave our meetings feeling inspired and motivated to go back to your parishes and chapters energized to work with a compassionate heart for this wonderful organization. We have a terrific workshop and presentations planned. We wish you a safe and blessed journey to Tampa

In keeping our mission in mind, we are asking Philoptochos Delegates to bring a new pair of shoes for a child--All sizes for all ages.
This is a National Philoptochos program that we are supporting as part of our 2009 Metropolis Conference.

The Philoptochos Conference Luncheon
to benefit
All Children's Hospital
Consultation Room in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
(for newborn, preemies, multiple births etc)

This room will be for prayer, consultation and quiet time and will be used by the doctors, the families and the nurses for meetings and consultation.

The cost of the room is $15,000.-, but the hospital has agreed to let us pledge $10,000 with naming rights.

Each Chapter has donated $100 as the special gift contribution
