The exhibit features thirty-six still-life photographs that illustrate each letter of the alphabet and numbers from one to ten. Every object in the alphabet images begins with the letter and every object in the number images represents the number in various ways.

Next Book Club meeting - April 25, 7 p.m.

The next Book Club discussion, which is open to any adult in the district, will be on Parrot & Olivier in America by Peter Carey. Australian-born author Carey is a two-time winner of the Man Booker Prize (Oscar and Lucinda, True Story of the Kelly Gang). His usual irreverent take on historical fiction this time deals with Alexis de Tocqueville and his servant and their visit to 1831 America. The book features a dual narrative with each party presenting alternate perspectives. Mr. Carey's 12th novel, " The Chemistry of Tears," which will be published next month, also features a dual narrative and is already receiving rave reviews.

Stewart's Grant Received
stewart's grant
The Library wishes to thank the Stewart's Foundation for its gift of $350 received as part of its annual Holiday Match grant. These grants are used to benefit children 18 years and under who live in an area where their shops are located and the money was raised. The Library plans to use our donation for the children's summer programming. With so many organizations experiencing challenging times, we appreciate their contribution to the children of our community.
