Dear Friends,

April is a special month for me because it marks the twelfth anniversary of  my employment here. I'll never forget how during the first few minutes of my first day of work I found myself, as an emergency stand-in, wearing a full bunny suit surrounded by enthralled toddlers in one of Miss Susan's pre-school classes. With obscured bunny-vision, I was slowly led into the community room in the costume. As I heard the sound of my breathing trapped in the rabbit head, I was immediately reminded of the scene in "The Graduate" where Dustin Hoffman's character fumbled in embarrassement toward the pool in his scuba gear. Not unlike this film character, I remember wondering, "Is this where my Master's Degree has lead me?" Since that day I learned that at Marlboro, the staff pulls together and often works across job descriptions to make the public's experience enjoyable. I also learned that one day is never like another at the Marlboro Library, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Hoppy trails,

Please Take Our Survey. Your Feedback Is Important!

A great advantage of producing this email newsletter is our ability to reach you quickly and affordably.  Now we have added an extra function; the ability to get your feedback through online surveys. We follow the cultural trends in library literature and the general media and try to anticipate your needs. Reviewing your completed surveys should take out much of our guesswork and will give us an opportunity to get your opinions and ideas directly. To paraphrase Jerry Maguire, "help us help you" by participating in our first online survey. The 10 questions shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes to answer. Thank you in advance.
