InfoPortal facing cuts in 2010
Checkout the InfoPortal - a collection of learning products for all ages and interests. It has been funded by the Ulster County Legislature who have been asked by the County Executive to cut it by 25%. It currently costs county taxpayers 50 cents/person. The cuts would reduce that to 38 cents and eliminate some great resources. Contact our newly re-elected legislators Frank Fellicello, Rich Gerentine, Wayne Harris and Kevin Roberts, by Nov. 20 if you want funding restored to the Ulster County Library Association. There will also be a public hearing at Ulster BOCES in New Paltz on Thursday, Nov. 19 at 6 p.m. |
