Week 24 Summary
We saw a mild recovery in Week 24's product quality from the dip in Week 23, which had followed from 4 weeks of steady, if not breathtaking, improvement. There was a marginal improvement in Physical Condition, with 70.3% of lots being in acceptable condition, and a more pronounced improvement in lots with relatively low failure rates, climbing to nearly 77% from about 60% in Week 23.
July poll question, "Has the increase in buyer caution had a negative impact on sales and the market overall?".
So far the results are 75% of respondents believe the heightened scrutiny is having a direct impact on sales activity.
