Success, according to Webster's Dictionary, literally means "a favorable result!" All too often we fail to put our "fitness success" in perspective, to make it more personal and achievable on a daily basis. Success doesn't have to mean losing huge amounts of weight, ripped washboard abdominals, doing the most reps with the most weights, having a perfectly sculpted body or winning an Iron Man. Success you see, is where you find it.
I have had clients lose 80 pounds, 100 pounds and even 150 pounds and don't get me wrong that is amazing & fantastic, but I get so excited when I hear things like; "I can't believe how easy it was shoveling snow," or "I didn't even get winded cutting the grass," or "I have no problem bending over to give the kids a bath any more." I love it when I get a text that says "I just fit into a pair of jeans that I haven't worn in years!" or "Guess what size I just tried on?" Success stories do come in all shapes and sizes and are truly about the small personal achievements and every day individual accomplishments! Read some of my favorite
