4 Ways to Impact the Democratic National Convention
|
Denver Needs Christ!
- PRAY - Let's pray that the greatest difference made at the DNC will not be based on the politics and global impressions, but by the many servant prayers of those who love our city and country. Pray for a peaceful and safe event and that God will allow this to be a great benefit for our city. Riverside Baptist Church is hosting a We Bow Down Prayer Conference on August 7-9.
- PREPARE - Disaster Relief is making plans to respond in case of terrorist attacks, forest fires or weather-related emergencies. Training is available for those interested in helping feed those who may be displaced by major incidents.
- SERVE - Mile High Baptist Association is coordinating the "Love Denver" ministry evangelism service to provide meals and hospitality tents for all policeman and other emergency officials assigned to DNC responsibilities. 1,000 volunteers are needed to show God's love by serving our city.
- SHARE - Teams will be trained and sent to witness to people on the streets of Denver. This evangelism effort will hopefully show people spiritual needs for themselves and our country.
