this bicycle fashion show they'll be rolling down the catwalk! The show will highlight the
latest trends in bicycles, clothing and accessories from local,
national, and international designers. Enjoy the refreshments, fun, flash bulbs and fashion.
Thursday, May 6th "Zoolander" Bike
Moves 528 Anacapa St., 8:00 PM In the spirit of the fashion show, this month's Bike Moves is themed Zoolander. Sport some outrageous and quirky fashion and join this group ride to the pier.
Saturday May 8th, Bike to Farmers Market
Bike to the market on Cota and Santa Barbara Streets and enjoy free Bike Valet parking across the street at WheelHouse (528 Anacapa St.). Indulge in a free bike-blended smoothie and receive a $5 market token for being one of the first 25 people to park their bikes. 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM.
Saturday May 8th, Ride to Mesa Spring Festival
Meet at the WheelHouse at 528 Anacapa Street at 12:15 for a guided ride up the coast to the Mesa Spring Festival, where you'll be entertained by 35 local artists, live music, kids activities and more.
Sunday May 9th, UCSB Ride to Farmers Market
Join UCSB Wellness Interns and AS BIKES for a trip to Goleta's Farmers Market. Departs from UCSB Student Health. 12:00 PM
Wednesday May 12th, Bike to Bikestation Day Free trial parking at the Bikestation, tours, raffle prizes, and coffee and light breakfast. *Free parking for arrival 7:00-9:00 AM and departure 4:00-6:00 PM. 1219 Anacapa St.

UCSB Bike to Work & School Day Celebrate bicycle commuting 7:00-9:00 AM on the UCSB bluffs above Goleta Beach. Raffles, free tune-ups, pancakes, refreshments, and great company.

Join National Train Day on May 8th Hosted by COAST, the Coalition for Sustainable Transportation
Saturday, May 8, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Santa Barbara Train Depot (209 State Street) Join COAST for the celebration of all things rail. Local participants will take the
Surfliner 774 south at 9:20 AM (buy your tickets ahead at www.amtrak.com or at the Station) to meet
participants in Carpinteria to return on the Surfliner 799 at 9:57 AM.
Magician Mark Collier will provide entertainment on the ride. Press conference to
follow at SB Train Depot at 10:30 AM. Light refreshments provided for
all and cookie decorating for the kids. In the spirit of CycleMAYnia, participants are encouraged to ride their bike, walk, or hop the bus to the station. |

Coworkers, friends, and families are all competing for glory, b ike gear, gift certificates to local shops and attractions, and more.
It's not too late to join. There are still teams that need more members. Find a team at www.trafficsolutionsonline.info/en-US/challenge/teams.aspx. Employers can still compete against each other to win bike racks and bike lids for their offices. Call 963-SAVE for help registering yourself or your office.
