$230 Pre-Tax Option for Bus and Vanpool Riders Started March 1st.
The Federal Stimulus Act raised the transportation fringe benefit from $120 to $230 per month. As of March 1, transit and vanpool riders can save as much as 40% on the cost of their commutes by using pre-tax dollars. As with the current benefit, the funds can come as a cash reimbursement from employers, pre-tax
