Opening for Eighth Judicial District Court Judge

The Commission on Judicial Selection is now accepting applications for the position of judge in the Eighth Judicial District Court, Department 4, due to the retirement of the Honorable Kathy Hardcastle.

Applications may be obtained via the Supreme Court website. Applications are due by Friday, April 20, at 5 p.m. Applications may only be submitted in hard copy. New Rule 4(D) provides that candidates' interviews, discussions of qualifications and balloting for nominations shall be held in a public session. A complete copy of the rules can be found on the commission's web page.

Questions should be directed to Myrna Byrd at the Administrative Office of the Courts at (702) 486-3201.
