Earth Reflections Opens its Doors in Downtown Boyertown The Grand Opening of a new store, Earth Reflections, has opened its doors in Downtown Boyertown, 12 South Reading Avenue, on Friday, August 06, 2010. Store owner, Isabel, says "Earth Reflections has Something for Everyone".
Isabel owed a larger version of the store for 14 years in York Pennsylvania. After a family illness she closed her doors to take care of her husband until he was able to no longer need the full time care she was providing.
After years of debating the "reopening" of her shop, Isabel decided that she did not want the "larger" store that she ran in the past, but rather something somewhere with "small town appeal", living in Emmaus for 17 years, and visiting Boyertown on a few occasions, she knew, Boyertown was the perfect place for her new beginning.
Items that the store carries include: Jewelry, Clothing, Accessories, Incense, Tapestries, Essential Oils and Lotions, Spiritual Books and CD's, Holistic Remedies, and more. Isabel is also a seamstress and will be offering on-site alterations.
Earth Reflections is an independently owned store, not a franchise or chain with Isabel being the owner and only staff member. Isabel looks forward to being a part of the Boyertown community and welcomes everyone into the store with a smile and open arms.
Located at the Inner Core Lot, Earth Reflections has off street parking, and hours of operation will be Tuesday - Saturday 11a.m.-6p.m. and can be contacted at 610-473-7245
Isabel and Earth Reflections will be hosting a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Friday, August 20, 2010 at 12 noon. Isabel would like to invite everyone to join her celebrate her new beginning in our Special Town.

Studio B presents "Photographic Images" by Sharon K. Merkel
Award-winning photographer Sharon K. Merkel of Barto, PA proudly presents her show, "Photographic Images," at Studio B July 16 through August 16, 2010.
Merkel, who has a background in advertising and illustration, found herself fascinated and challenged when she turned to photography. The process deals with "the art of subtraction," she says, "choosing what should be included and omitted in order to convey meaningful photographs." Her works provide captivating perspectives on the intersection of man and nature, drawing her audience in and allowing them to create their own conclusions about each image.
"When I go about photographing these structures," Merkel says, "I first see the forms and color that make up each and how they are affected by the light."
Merkel has shown in numerous galleries, including the Pennridge Gallery of the Arts, Out of Our Hands Gallery in Emmaus, The Banana Factory in Bethlehem, and galleryONEmain in Highbridge, NJ, as well as at Studio B. She has also participated in "The Art Show at the Dog Show" in Wichita, Kansas and will be part of a show at the American Kennel Club Museum of the Dog in St. Louis, MS in 2011.
