Volunteers are the grassroots of Boyertown's revitalization efforts. True revitalization of a community requires well-planned coordination, with volunteers leading the charge. YOU the volunteers of Building a Better Boyertown (BBB) are the backbone and lifeblood of BBB.

BBB''s volunteers unselfishly contribute their time to our community.  They are the primary reason Boyertown is a "Special Kind of Place".  Our volunteers realize that community revitalization is a team effort.  Amazingly, BBB's team has reported 9,441.5 hours of volunteering in 2009 and 29,392.55 hours since its inception in 2005.  BBB's volunteers are on another record setting pace this year as they continue, through the selfless contribution of time and talent, to help in the revitalization of Boyertown's downtown district.

TO OUR VOLUNTEERS:

It is obvious that you all love your community.  That has been demonstrated by the many hours of time that you have dedicated to the many successful events and activities.

You have been involved and supported the downtown program, made connections with each other, encouraged the participation of other community members, resolved internal and external conflicts, and stood up for the cause as we seek to continue the revitalization of our beloved town. You all exemplify what the term's "volunteerism" and "community" truly mean.  BBB can not thank you enough but we would like to show our appreciation.
