Hand Embroidered Pillow
 | The earliest known occasion to make the phrase Christmas in July literal was in July 1933 at Camp Keystone, a girl's summer camp in North Carolina, which celebrated with a Christmas tree, gifts, and a visit by Santa Claus. In 1935, the National Recreation Association's journal Recreation described what a Christmas in July was like at a girl's camp, writing that "all mystery and wonder surround this annual event".
A year ago, our Vice President, Ann Dywer, wanted to capture that same spirit. Adorning her home from top to bottom with Christmas decorations, our annual Christmas in July Sale was born. So soak up the sun and celebrate with Women of Hope Project and enjoy this year's Christmas in July.

and more women are coming to our Vocational Center in hopes of finding a
way to use their skills to support their families. The typical
woman who comes to our Center is extremely poor. With few exceptions, none
of her children are going to school. It is usually up to the small boys in
the family to produce a family income by selling drinks in the bazaar or
shining shoes on the street.

of the children of our ladies in this project are going to school! Because you support them by purchasing their beautiful embroidered
