2011 Statistics

In 2011, we gave hope to 175 Great Danes in need and found forever homes for 143.

Thanks to all our volunteers, adoptive families, and supporters for being an integral part in our ability to help these Danes in need.

Holiday Giving Tree

HUGE SUCCESS

Holiday Giving Tree
The Holiday Giving Tree fundraising campaign was created to benefit three of RMGDRI's fosters that require major surgery.  Once again our RMGDRI supporters stepped up and donated the gift of health to our three deserving recipients.

Thanks to everyone the following funds were added to...

Chip - $590
Saskia - $725
Buster - $460

Chip, Saskia and Buster thank you for your support!

Sharing Great News about the Danes of RMGDRI
2011 PAW It Forward Grant - Buster Update

PIFF

Just a quick note to share that Buster continues to thrive after his surgery.  He is gaining weight and loving life.

Our December Wine Tasting benefited Buster and it was great to see his adoptive family, Jason and Kim.  They were very appreciative of the PIFF program and the generous support from RMGDRI and our donors.

Buster Enjoys His Elevated Feeder

Jason and Kim placed the highest bid for the elevated feeder available at the wine tasting and now Buster gets to eat in style.

At the end of the day, the wine tasting added over $600 to Buster's surgery fund.

RMGDRI would like to thank each of our donors that supported the 2011 program.  Because of your donations, Buster was able to get the surgery he desperately needed all while staying with his adoptive family.

The 2012 grant is now available for the next Dane in need.

Something to Consider...

Volunteering Without the volunteers, RMGDRI would not be able to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home the many Great Danes that come to use abandoned, abused and in great need of an advocate.

You don't have to be an expert or specialist to be a valuable volunteer - all you have to do is love Great Danes and be willing to give a little bit of your time, effort or countless other resources to make a huge impact for our Danes.

Volunteer commitments can be as little or as much time as you choose to give. We understand that lives are busy these days - if you can only help out one hour a week, we'll find a task that suits your schedule. You can volunteer from home, or come out and work with the dogs!
