2010 Is Test Time
Some folks, like me, don't test too well -- especially on
standardized tests. I'm great on essays but not
multiple choice questions.

I believe 2010 is going to test the wits out our multiple
choices. But before I lose those of you that 'hate' tests,
let me say that God intends to guide you through
these tests if we urge Him to. His plan is to find whom
He can promote as we march along the New Year.
I'm not into numerology but I can sincerely say that the
number "10" is a very special number. For one, it's
special because of the 'Ten
Commandments.' In fact, "10" is the accumulation to
the extent of the digits, (i.e., 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, and
10). After you get to 10, you began a brand new
series of numbers. The zero is always the ending of a
sequence which ushers in another sequence. You
may wonder why I'm acting like a "spiritual
mathematician." Let me explain.

Interestingly, the Jewish calendar doesn't refer to
2010 but to the year 5770. In other words, this is the
number of years since the days of Adam and Eve in
the Garden of Eve. So when you read 5-7-7-0, again,
you see a zero at the end of the numbers. In other
words, even the Jewish New Year has introduced a
new numerical sequence to come.

I love the number "5" because it reminds me of favor
and grace. But I profoundly appreciate "7" because it
represents completion and a very special blessing.
Genesis 2:2-3 reads, "By the seventh day God had
finished the work he had been doing; so on the
seventh day he rested from all his work. And God
blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because
on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had
done."
However, as we look at the Jewish Year one more
time, we discover two "7's" next to each other (i.e., 77).
This is a sign of DOUBLE completion and blessing.
And when you put the zero ("0") at the end you find
there's no competition or contradiction that can stand
against double 7's.
Referring once again to the 'heroes' and leaders God
is raising up this New Year, I can't help but notice the
last two digits -- "70."
Throughout the Bible we find the number "70" as
representing fulfillment of leadership. I contend that
up until today, we've had leadership but not the
completion or fulfillment of leadership. It is my
assessment that the leadership that's represented
God's spiritual matters and concerns have been
disconcerted and fragmented. But now, as we move
through the Jewish New Year of 5770 or the
(Gregorian) year of 2010, we find that God is about to
pull some wondrous surprises on us.
