"The exiles from Jerusalem who are in
Sepharad will possess the towns of the Negev."
(Obadiah 20)
COALITION ADULLAM
I'd like to take a minute introducing you to a special
group of people that God is bringing together. These
are folks thathave had it with things as
they're turning out all around us. They're very much
like those that coalesced with David in a cave called
Adullam.
1 Sam 22:1-2 says, "David left Gath and escaped
to the cave of Adullam. When his brothers and his
father's household heard about it, they went down to
him there. All those who were in distress or in
debt or discontented gathered around him, and
he became their leader. About four hundred men were
with him." "But what in the world does Adullam actually mean?"
you ask. The prophet Micah says it best: "He who is
the glory of Israel will come to
Adullam. " (My emphasis) Micah
1:15b Please note how Micah refers to THE
GLORY OF ISRAEL as related to Adullam! I'm
sure David's troops and family didn't feel very glorious
when they descended into the cave with David.
Let me get to the point. After 13 years of investigation,
writing books, doing radio and TV programs, taking
seminars across our nation as well as into parts of
Europe and particularly Israel, we're now ready to
create a COALITION of folks like you and me.
This coalition has already begun to take shape.
Without formally being a coalition, we have
functioned as one for a number of years. This is
coalition is composed only of true Zionists, both
Jewish and Christian. But I want to make it real clear,
this isn't one that's laden with laws and bylaws,
boards and committees and so forth. This is more of
a group of folks that learns from each other and is
on fire to promote the aliyah process whether it is
for themselves and/or for others such as Sephardic
Anusim Crypto Jews. This coalition doesn't discriminate whether one is
a "religious" or a "secular" Jew or Christian. It doesn't
discriminate whether one desires to make aliyah or
enable aliyah from a distance. Its passion is to bless
God's Chosen People and His Promised Land, in
particular the Negev and its inhabitants.
We're planning to host a special summit in the
heart of the Negev this June. This summit will be
three-pronged. The first prong is to educate
and illuminate participants regarding our history, our
culture and the land Obadiah prophesied we're to
possess. The second prong is to
demonstrate specific geographic areas of the Negev
where we already have a dynamic presence such as
our center and historical exhibit. We also want to
showoff special locations that are key to the beauty
and peculiarity of "our Negev." The third prong
is to formally establish what I call "ACA," the
Anusim Coalition of the Americas. (By the way, the
term "ACA," in Spanish means "over here.")
Therefore, I'd like to hear from you as soon as
possible if you're interested in becoming part of this
Coalition, ACA. The reason why I say as soon as
possible is simply because of the conditions that
surround our nation at this time as well as in order for
us to properly prepare ourselves for our Summit
Adullam in the Negev this June. Below is the statement of our coalition: our vision,
mission and goals. And by the way, this coalition is
not a 'come one-come all' type of group. It's reserved
for the serious minded and earnest at heart with
regard to our vision.
Statement of the Coalition
Vision
To serve as a unified voice for Sephardic
Anusim in the Americas
Mission
To enable the process of Sephardic Anusim
making aliyah and settling in the Negev of Israel
Goals
1. To unite Sephardic Anusim in every nation in the
Western Hemisphere 2. To provide a forum for Sephardic Anusim
regardless of their religious persuasion or slant 3. To hold special summits and other educational
events for the enhancement of Sephardic Anusim
internationally 4. To lobby on behalf of Sephardic Anusim through
advocacy nationally, internationally and in Israel
One last time, I'm asking you to please respond post
haste. Please keep in mind that you don't
need to attend our ACA Summit in the Negev in order
to be part of it.I'll give you further instruction
once I personally hear from you.
Meantime, don't forget to visit our website for general
information on who we are and the learning resources
available to you. Happy Hanukkah! Dell
