WAR IN ISRAEL BY PURIM?
You may recall that on February 12th a top terrorist
commander named Imad Mughnieh, was killed in a
car bombing in Syria. This has caused an uproar
among Muslims. The Hizbullah overlords are
accusing Israel of this bombing but Israel strongly
denies any involvement. As a result, there are serious
reports that as soon as the 40 days of mourning for
Mughnieh are over, the Hizbullah will attack Israel.
This 40 day period ends around the 22nd or 23rd of
this month.
These dates coincide with the Jewish Feast of Purim
and their Sabbath. You may recall that the Book of
Esther documents the supernatural deliverance of
Israel during the time of Haman the madman. What
makes this more precarious is that Syria and Iran are
involved in plans to join forces with the Hizbullah in
what could prove to be another fierce battle in northern
Israel. Reliable sources say that Israel's role in this
assassination means that they are now ready for a
new war against Hizbullah in northern Israel and
southern Lebanon.
In a speech last month, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of
Iran called Israel a "dirty microbe" and "savage
animal." He also declared that Israel will
be "uprooted" and its leaders put on trail as he
condemned Israel's strikes in the Gaza Strip.
Speaking about Gaza, we've all watched the news
how Palestinians in Gaza bulldozed through a
concrete border fence next to Egypt. Multitudes of
Muslim Palestinians have been crossing over into
Egypt. Many well-trained terrorists have been stealing
into Gaza. These are terrorists trained by Syria and
Iran in various uses of high tech explosives.
Meantime, rockets have continued to rain from Gaza
into various parts of the Negev. Highly skilled Muslim
snipers have been zeroing in on farmers in the Negev.
There has been much bloodshed yet fundamental
radical terrorist Muslims continue to fuel the fires of
annihilation in an attempt to totally liquidate Israel and
God's Chosen People.
We all know that the enemy of God and our people
has been trying to get rid of Israel since time
immemorial. But why? Because Israel is the land of
God's Covenants. Israel is the land of the patriarchs,
of the Commandments and the Torah. Israel is the
land of the prophets that shook the world. Israel is the
only land God calls, "The beautiful" and the Promised
Land. The enemy knows that if he can somehow nuke
Israel into oblivion, it will get rid of the most
fundamental promises, rights and authority that God
gave to the human race through His Chosen People.
The enemy knows that if he can blast Israel away, I'm
talking about the land, the people and its
infrastructures, it will dominate the world. Why?
Because God gave Israel the calling and the destiny to
be the only rabbi-nation on this globe. Israel is the
keeper of the ultimate pledge which God made to
Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and consequently with the
rest of the world. And Israel is the place where our
Messiah will rule and reign-not the USA nor the U.N.,
but in Israel and her Zion. This is why it is so very
crucial that we pray for Israel these next 30 to 60 days
like we've never prayed before. I am convinced that
those of us who hear God's heartbeat about this
critical matter and do something about it, God will
entrust us with authority to receive and disseminate
His provisions as He directs-beginning with Israel
and purposes surrounding it, such as Aliyah.

LET'S STAND IN THE GAP FOR ISRAEL!
Over the years I've heard a whole lot about Israel
being "the apple of God's eye" but most people that
say this really don't believe it because they don't act
accordingly. There's just too much lip service going
on. It's easy to say we pray for Israel because no one
can say that you don't. No one is there to police our
spirituality day and night as it affects Israel's future.
I'm convinced the time has come when we must put
our love and prayers into action like never before.
I believe today's "church" has become overly mystical.
The point is that it lacks real balance which can only
be measured on a literal and concrete scale. I know it
is "dangerous" to make things that are strictly spiritual
or figurative to be literal. I'm not saying this. What I am
saying is that we need to begin to DO SOMETHING
PRO-ACTIVE. After we've prayed, and worshipped,
and interceded and cried out, we need to arise and
take action as the ancient ones did in Bible times.
Abraham took action, Joseph took action, Moses,
David, Deborah and Esther took action. These were
true men and women with a stout balance for the
spiritual and the literal. They were people of spiritual
integrity. True spirituality is not measured merely from
the pulpit, in books, CD's or television. True
spirituality is epitomized as it was in the life of
Nehemiah and David's leadership by example in the
front lines of real action--not merely theoretical or
theological discourse. It's time for us to step up our
spirituality by letting our light shine like it never has
before. We need to remember that light is not a
dormant, listless energy but a very vibrant one
impregnated with the purpose of cause and the
explosiveness of effect.

From the Desert to the Rockies
Allow me to now turn to some soft and rather good
news. A few years ago, God spoke to my heart in a
very vivid way. I heard Him say that Colorado is the
heart of Sephardic Anusim and that New
Mexico is the head. The reason why New
Mexico's the head is because Crypto-Jews in this
state have done the most excellent job at keeping the
truth and facts of our heritage alive and well. I'm
referring to written as well as oral histories, material
evidences, DNA test outcomes and a host of other
significant facts.
On the other hand, Colorado is the heart of Anusim
because of the "fire" within the soul of Crypto-Jews
that live there. What I mean by fire is that there's a
peculiar brand of passion that takes New Mexican
Crypto-Jewish knowledge and puts it into a most
exciting format of the arts, drama, and personal
excitability.
Interestingly, when I quizzed the Lord, wondering how
He sees my home-state of Texas I sensed Him to
say: "Oh. . . Texas is the spurs at the bottom of the
boots." I think this is probably one of my virtues,
to "spur" my people to wake up and march toward our
God-given destiny.
All of this to say that Helen and I will be back in
Colorado this month. We'll be doing a series
of events in various cities such as Denver, Vail and
Pueblo. And because God is focusing so much on the
heart of Sephardim, we'll return to Colorado in April to
do another series of events in the southern part of
Colorado such as Pagosa Springs and Durango
(Helen's birthplace).

FLOOD GATES OPENING
We are now receiving much feedback and some
invitations from the four corners of the earth. It's
simply amazing how, as a result of my books and
mostly word-of-mouth, people around the world are
contacting us. From the north, we've had people from
Canada inquiring about our work and their destiny.
We've also had many people form the south, from
Mexico all the way to the south most part of South
America asking for us to come enlighten them.
Believe it or not, we've had folks from the east, across
the Atlantic and in Europe asking for direction. Some
of these places include Switzerland, Spain, Germany,
France and others. And we've had people from as far
west as the Philippines wanting to reconnect with their
Sephardic heritage. And we must not forget that at the
heart of all this are our precious Jewish family in
Israel who are asking questions and wanting to learn
more about their lost and forgotten family members
that fled the Inquisitions in Iberia for survival.

Helen and I are at the real cutting edge--not an
imaginary one. We were, literally, in the Negev when
the Second Intifada broke out in 2000. Then we were
there again (not merely in spirit but in actuality) when
the War against Iraq broke out. We've been so near
acts of violent terrorism when it could've taken our
lives or the lives of family members and close friends.
These are facts of truth and reality, not theory. We've
been researching, publishing, teaching, imparting and
mobilizing spiritually pro-active people. Now we're
engaged in the most pro-active challenge of our
lives-to build a community for our people. Our people
are Hispanic/Latinos with deep Sephardic Anusim
roots; many of whom want to collaborate with us and
help the Negev to blossom as the ancient prophets
have prophesied.
