The Carson Spring session is now finishing and a new Halldale session is in our immediate future! Scary how fast time flies! If you want to see more of what each session entails please visit my volleyball.com blogs (links to session 5, 6, and 7 are above) or visit our new video library for video highlights.
The AVP kicks off this month in Miami, which also means our kickoff fundraiser for the year is this month! The details are below for our "Dinner With the Stars". There will be an event on Sat, June 6th at Sangria during the Hermosa Beach AVP...so mark your calendars now!
We are always looking at new locations to expand to, etc so please, if you have ideas or just want to volunteer at a session LET US KNOW :)!

Event Information
Date: Sat, April 26th
Time: 6-9pm
Location: Steve Obradovich's House

Cost: $250 per person/$500 per couple

Chad & Tyra Turner Visit Dig 4 Kids
We were very lucky to have both Chad & Tyra Turner come by and help the kids! Here are the pictures and video from the session.

Wells Fargo "Hands On Banking"
D4K Board Member, Kris, has added a new element to the D4K curriculum. It is "Hands on Banking" by Wells Fargo Bank. It is a 6 week series that teaches the kids the basics about money, saving, etc. |
Mira Costa HS Dig 4 Kids Club Beach Clean-up
On March 29, 2008, the MCHS D4K Service Club did a beach clean-up in Manhattan Beach (CA) from Marine Street to the pier. The club organized the entire event, from the sponsors to getting the volunteers. Great Job guys! We would also like to thanks Ocean Minded, Crocs,and Growing Great for there sponsorship of the event! To see more pictures of the event, please visit Christi's blog. - We have only $42,000 left to reach our goal of $100,000 by Oct.1! This is the goal that was set by the D4K board back in January of this year!

- Carson HS Quarterback (and Volleyball Team member), Dominique Blackman helps D4K (in photo above). He has signed with Washington for next season to play football.
