This "Digging Education" session has been terrific so far. Kris Nishihira (DFK Board Member) from Wells Fargo was nice enough to donate his time and come to the program and speak to the kids about money and banking. It was very informative and he was a great guest speaker.

trying on shoesAsics shoes is kind enough to help us out again with shoes for all the kids in our after school program. They are also sponsoring the Carson High School Boys and Girls teams. The Carson children are very thankful for Asics continued support.

Great news! LA84 Foundation has approved a grant in the amount of $24,300 to help pay for our spring and fall programs. They are a big reason why we have been able to exist and expand  DFK.  LA 84 has been a supporter of Dig For Kids since our inception in 2000. We are thankful for their support and for helping us reach our goal of $100,000 by Oct.1.  We only have $54,000 to go.

csudh tutoringWe would also like to thank the Cal State Dominguez Hills women's volleyball team for coming and helping tutor and coach the kids. The children are very happy to have them there and we wish them the best on and off the court.
