Letter from Eric Fonoimoana
(Founder/President)
Dig 4 Kids has completed seventeen after school programs to date. We've recently expanded into the city of Torrance, CA helping even more children learn the importance of education and physical activity. D4K goals remain simple; to encourage children to be positive role models in their communities, to improve their scholastic skills, and teach the importance of healthy lifestyles. We want kids to set individual goals and help them achieve them.
In addition to the expansion of our successful after-school program, we have recently started a community service club to involve high-school kids. The Dig 4 Kids Club will recycle, clean up trash in schools, parks, and beaches. The clubs will raise money to help their nearby underserved cities.
We need your help to help the club program grow. If you are in high school or know high-school aged students, get them involved, it is easy. The club must be recognized by the ASB or the governmental agency in each school. The D4K Club fulfills your community service requirements, and is a positive asset to college applications. If you have interest or questions about the Dig 4 Kids Club, please contact Eric Fonoimoana at 310-350-5578. Please help us to carry out our goals. Thank you for your support.

Mira Costa HS Starts 1st D4K Community Service Club
Want to start your own?
Things to remember: The HS Service Club must be recognized by ASB at the High School- A student must submit a
proposal to ASB and then the club will choose what service they want to
do. Some clubs may want to do beach clean ups and others may want to
clean up parks. The school should be first and then the park or beach
second.
The rest is up to the club. The money raised will be used for projects
the club wants to do. All checks will be made out to D4K. The checks
will be tax deductible as a result.
