The John Wayne Cancer Institute Auxiliary will host the 26th Annual Odyssey Ball at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on April 9, 2011. This gala benefiting the John Wayne Cancer Institute is open to the public and includes a reception, dinner, silent and live auctions, entertainment and dancing. Since 1987, the "Duke" award has been given to people who have made an extraordinary contribution in the fight against cancer. This year's Duke Award, given to people who have made an extraordinary contribution in the fight against cancer, is Ruth Weil. This year's True Grit Award, recognizing those who have demonstrated uncompromising integrity and commitment to the values of our great country, is Alana Stewart.
