Holiday Giving Why End Of Year Giving Is Cost-Effective
Even in this time of economic uncertainty, ongoing support
for cancer research programs remains vital. Your gift will help keep
researchers working to find better detection methods and treatments - giving
patients help and hope - in their struggles against cancer.
Congress has recently extended the IRA Charitable Rollover
Act, providing a great tax-free option to make a gift from your IRA without incurring an "out of pocket" expense, which many find beneficial in
today's economy.
Individuals 70 ½ or older are now permitted to contribute up
to $100,000 from their IRA accounts without incurring income tax on the
withdrawal. IRA distributions will not be included in your Federal taxable
income, and a gift to John Wayne Cancer Institute will qualify for all or part
of your required IRA annual minimum distribution. Read more...
