What A Pair!
What does it take to pull off a Broadway-caliber production with more than 30 celebrities, all to benefit breast cancer research? The support of numerous volunteers! Each year, more than 80 volunteers support the efforts of producers Jo Levi DiSante, Jody Price and Ruth Stalford, the driving force behind the Broadway-caliber celebrity duets show. Now in its 6th year, the cabaret-style show benefits breast cancer research at the John Wayne Cancer Institute.

Donald L. Morton, M.D. was quoted in the Los Angeles Times in an article on moles and melanoma, including when it's important to see a dermatologist. In the same issue, Dave S.B. Hoon, Ph.D. was quoted in another melanoma article for his work on the CCR9 protein that promotes melanoma's migration to the small intestine. Read more...
Dave S.B. Hoon, Ph.D. was published in the May 10, 2008 edition of the Journal of Clinical Oncology for an international study he led which found that modifications to DNA found on multiple chromosomes in tumors can help to predict outcomes in patients with early-stage rectal cancer. Read more...

The 6th Annual What A Pair! Celebrity Duet Concert is coming up on Sunday, June 8, 2008. What A Pair! is a Broadway-caliber production of duets sung by an eclectic array of celebrity women from television, film, music, and stage.
