Tribute Giving Tom Mullin Memorial Golf Tournament
For eight years and counting, the Mullin family has exemplified dedication and devotion to melanoma research through the Tom Mullin Memorial Golf Tournament. Held each spring in memory of Tom Mullin, who passed away after a battle with melanoma, the golf tournament is a celebration of his life and to those who still fight to find a cure. All proceeds from the golf tournament are generously donated to the John Wayne Cancer Institute at Saint John's Health Center. read more... |

Event Spotlight 23rd Annual Odyssey Ball
Hosted by the John Wayne Cancer Institute Auxiliary, the Odyssey Ball is one of the Institute's oldest and most beloved traditions. This year's soirée will be held at the elegant Beverly Hilton Hotel and includes dinner, dancing, performances and an award presentation. The honoree for the 2008 Special Service Award, "The Duke" is the Insitute's own Carolyn Dirks. She is sure to be in good company as previous award winners include Joyce Green, Larry King and Nancy Reagan. read more...

Ways to Help Ralphs Community Contributions
In November of 2006, Ralphs grocery chain named John Wayne Cancer Institute a beneficiary of its Community Contributions program. Since then, every person who shops at Ralphs has the opportunity to raise money to help cure cancer! All you have to do is sign up on the Ralphs website under the participant tab with our non-profit number (NPO number 80449), use your club card in the store and Ralphs takes care of the rest. |
