Greetings!
GALT's 7th annual "Cooking for the Hounds" event was a smashing success at The Mercury! Many thanks to renowned Mercury chef, Chris Ward, who opened up his kitchen once again to demonstrate the fabulous dishes and share the tasty treats with his GALT fans and friends.
VIP patrons had the best seats in the house at the cooking bar and received special chef's aprons autographed by Chef Ward. Funds were also raised by the silent auction. A special tip of the hat goes to Marjy and James LaGesse of LaGesse Auctions, who organized and conducted the silent auction and an impromptu live auction.
Three of GALT's available greys - vivacious Spinner, "Mr. Cool" Nate and "Everyone's Sweetheart" Angel - were on hand to greet the attendees and remind us all why we were there. No one went away hungry - and people are still talking about the sumptuous banquet prepared and served by Chef Ward and his excellent staff.
While funds raised by this event will go toward ensuring that GALT lives up to its mission of "No Grey Turned Away", it is a daily struggle to meet these financial needs. Your ongoing support and generous donations are much appreciated and needed. Thank you on behalf of GALT's greyhounds.

Join GALT at the One Arts Plaza Fall Block Party!
The festivities will begin at noon on Sunday, October 14th with food, music and more to entertain you! Dogs are welcome!
GALT will be there with the GreytStore and this will be the setting for the Blessing of the Hounds and Memorial Service at 3pm.

The 22nd annual Swing with the Legends Golf Tournament features the opportunity to play golf with a Major League Baseball Players Alumni member. Our greyhound ambassadors will be there to represent GALT!
