Review & Contest Results

volunteersThis past Sunday (November 2), 173 flutists spilled into the hallways and classrooms of Highland United Methodist Church to participate in RAFA's 24th annual Review & Contest. The student and adult performers, representing 29 teaching studios across North Carolina and Virginia, performed two solos for judges, who provided written evaluations and selected winners in each of the eight divisions.
Congratulations to the Contest winners, who will perform in the Contest Winners' Recital on Friday, November 14 at 7:30 p.m. at Highland United Methodist Church. The recital is free to the public and will be followed by a reception.
Special thanks is due to contest Coordinators Lauren Robbins-Pollack and Heidi Sue Ross as well as the team of 40+ volunteers who judged, served as door monitors, staff the registration table and provided food. We appreciate your commitment, energy and expertise!
