2008: A New Look for RAFA Choirs!
The new year brings new opportunities for flutists who want to play in one (or two) of the RAFA ensembles. While a few things stay the same, we think you'll see changes that will appeal to a broad range of needs and experience levels, especially to flutists with very busy schedules. So if you've always wanted to participate in a choir, here's your chance.

Choir MembersThe Fantasy and Pipes choirs still require auditions, which will be held on January 20. Be sure to contact the appropriate choir director to schedule your audition time because we cannot guarantee walk-ins. Be sure to look at the requirements because you'll see some changes. Also, note the rehearsal schedule because the Fantasy will now rehearse for two hours and the Pipes for one hour only. There will no longer be a Fantasy/Pipes combined choir rehearsal.

The Silver Winds begin rehearsals on February 3 and will now be a multi-level choir. This ensemble presents the perfect opportunity for players new to the choir experience as well as for intermediate and advanced players who cannot make the significant time committment required for the Fantasy and Pipes. Players who want to play in both the Pipes and the Winds are especially encouraged to do so.

Regardless of the ensemble, we think you'll love it! Be sure to check it out and sign-up today!
