Dear Ones,  

      Men and women will be gathering in MD next week, June 14 & 15, for Ancestral Ceremonies.  The field has been building for some time, and i am feeling deep connection with my own ancestors as well as tuning into those of the participants for support and guidance. It would be a wonderful opportunity for you to tune in and join our ancestral field, invoke your own ancestors, make prayers and ceremonies, honor those who came before you.   

      No matter where in the world our lineages began, we are all rooted in the indigenous world, children of the Earth, and here we are because of those who came before us who had the strength to survive.  These people suffered great losses and maybe great loves, too, and they survived hardships we may never know about. But we feel those hardships in our family field, we feel the effects of their suffering that went underground or died with them.    

       Perhaps we  have unknowingly been carrying some of their heartbreak, grief,  shame, guilt, or responsibility for them. While we are in ceremony next week, you could consider creating a ritual for yourself, to ask your ancestors to take back whatever you think you may be carrying for them, and agree to keep what is yours.  It can be a simple ceremony, done in a visualization or you can use stones or photos to hold the place of the ancestors you choose to engage. This can be very powerful despite the simplicity of it. You can thank them for the life that has come so far from them to you.    

          This ceremony can serve our children and grandchildren, as well as those who came before us. In turn, our ancestors who are strong enough can also give us strength and wisdom as we meet our own life challenges.  It has been a precious gift to me to meet the ancient ones of my own lineage and feel a sense of kinship and belonging that i had never known until they gathered around me in the dreamtime and said, "You belong to us." I felt the truth of that in my cells, my bones, and my heart.  It is astonishing how thin the veils are now, how close and accessible these ancestors are.  We can help each other, serve each other's healing and awakening.   

        May you have grace full meetings with your ancestors.
