Holiday Consignment Shop Added to Christmas Extravaganza
Bring your holiday items in starting Saturday, November 20.
A new addition to the Christmas Extravaganza this year (Friday, Nov. 26 & Saturday, Nov. 27) will be a Holiday Consignment Shop. Used holiday items can be donated or sold on consignment with 50% going to support the Center for the Arts. Items must have a resale value of at least $5.00 to qualify for consignment.
Only holday themed items will be sold -- artificail trees, decorations, housewares, holiday themed clothing, etc.
Our consignment shop will be on the Center's second floor. You can price your own consignment items or let us do it for you.
We will be ready to receive your items beginning Saturday, November 20th during normal Center Hours.

Norman Rockwell Exhibition Continues Through Saturday, Nov. 20 Hours: Tues-Sat, noon-5:30 p.m. $3 suggested donation.
Exhibition-Related Events:
"April Fool" Contest When Norman Rockwell painted April Fool, for the Saturday Evening Post in 1948, he incorporated 55 "mistakes," in the painting.
Submit your guesses of these mistakes in April Fool for a chance to win a print of "Power and Light," by Brad Reed.
Entries are available at the Center's gallery, Tuesday through Saturday, noon-5:30 p.m. Deadline to enter is Saturday, November 20 at 2 p.m. The winner will be announced at the Christmas Extravaganza, which begins on Friday, Nov. 26 at the Center for the Arts.

Friday, Nov. 19 Celebrate all things Italian!
At 5 p.m., Luciano's is holding a wine- tasting and hors d'oeuvre event to benefit the Center; call 843-2244 for information and to reserve your place.

At 8:30 p.m., at the Center, Third Coast Film Society presents, Italian for Beginners, a Danish film about a group of lonely hearts in a small suburb take a beginner's course in Italian and a visit to Italy to jump-start the romance in their lives. $7 admission at the door. The film is rated R; running time is 112 minutes.

Christmas Extravaganza Friday & Saturday, Nov 26-27
The 2nd Annual Christmas Extravaganza featuring a juried arts and crafts fair, lunch and coffee bar, baked goods sale, and a concert by the Shoreliners Gospel Quartet. Note: the Family Talent night has been cancelled.
