"We wanted to challenge area artists to work within a postcard size," Mason County Farm - Lynda Roughtexplained Rebecca Mott who chairs the visual arts committee at the Center.   Area artists met the challenge using watercolors, drawings, mixed media, fiber and even metal.  At $30, these 4 x 6 original artworks make a great and easy-to-pack souvenir or gift for visitors to take home."The show features 85 postcard-size from 22 artists from the Ludington area.  In addition to watercolors and drawings, Greetings From... includes original work in mixed media, fiber, and even metal.

VolcanoEach artist has brought their own personal flair to the show, creating a diverse collection of pint-sized works of art. One of the artists, Ruth B. Dimmitt, created mixed media postcards that encompass a 3-D element and leap out of the paper. Her piece, "Volcano," stays true to its name by showing viewers a minimalist view of one of earth's natural destroyers.
