Indoor Yard Sale Raises $2,300 for the Center's New Gift Shop

We are so grateful for everyone who pitched in to make the indoor yard sale on May 8 and 9 at the Ludington Area Center for the Arts such a success.

We had hoped to raise $1,500 in funds for construction costs for the new gift shop.  Thanks to the generosity of so many in the community who donated art, antiques, housewares, furniture, and clothing, as well as baked goods, we raised $2,300.

Everything that happens at the Center is a labor of love, the result of many, many hours of hard work from so many volunteers.  This was true of the indoor yard sale as well, so we thank everyone who volunteered to set up, price items, work during the sale, and clean up.  We couldn't have done it without you.

We invite all of you, everyone who contributed items to the yard sale, and the community to visit the new gift shop/gallery in early June when it will be up and running.

Thank you!
