This visually stunning film offers a glimpse into the rarely seen and scarcely understood tribal culture of whales. Whaledreamers explores the connection between the elegance of these "mothers of the sea" and ancient civilizations around the world whose culture and very existence is based on whales.  It stresses the spiritual bond that exists among whales, dolphins, and the world's indigenous peoples. Whaledreamersoffers viewers "a rare glimpse into a tribal culture ... whose creation story revolves around the most majestic mammals to swim the seven seas."
In May through August, the Center will show films about art and artists and in September through December, it will show foreign films. Films will screen the last Friday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Center.
