New Art History Lecture Series Begins This Wednesday, July 1 at 7:00 p.m.
After a very popular set of lecture in the Spring, art historian, Dan Connolly, is back with a new series, this one about Classical Greek and Roman art and architecture.
This Wednesday's topic is the origins and early developments of Greek art, with an emphasis on the representation of the human body and the development of the main ritual temple designs (including, of course, its decoration).
The series continues on three more Wednesdays: July 8, 15, and 22. Suggested donation is $10 per lecture. |
